Follow peace with all men

Follow peace with all men, Christians,
love each other as our Lord,
Arise occasions of discord,
should it always be my way?
Strive to forgive and to forbear,
do not give place to Satan,
Tied in one with kind affection,
caring for all as for self.

Pursue the path of holiness,
for 'tis pleasing to the Lord.
Truth and Spirit with Jesus' blood.
steadfast faith in these will do,
Pray'rs from a sincere heart God hears,
perfect love He will bestow,
The triune God of majesty,
He's holy so be holy.

Let us walk as children of light,
trust God to defeat the foes,
Pray unceasingly and witness,
hearts be filled with joy always,
Haste to submit to the Spirit,
let Him guide us with no fear,
Lead the erring soul to return,
head for heaven tarry not.
